Review: Fun Factory Volta
So strong that even Alessandro Volta would be surprised. The potential of the Fun Factory Volta vibrator I used for the first time on New Year's Eve is too enormous. No wonder this toy is the number one choice of many women. But is it mine too?
I got the product from the Slovenian online shop diskretno.com as a gift, and unknowingly they brightened up my sneezy and very busy holiday season. For a long time, I kept Volta in its cardboard box, and according to all the rules I had set, it should stay there till the 1st of January at least. Only on my birthday would Volta be able to see the light of day. Luckily for me, the opportunity came earlier.
Fun Factory's golden package contained, besides the almost nineteen-centimeter-long vibrator, a very detailed instruction manual and a magnetic charging cable in bright red (I love the color!). I knew from experience that I had to hold down the button marked "Fun" to turn it on, but Volta didn't obey me. Because it showed no signs of life, I plugged it in and waited all night (it takes six to eight hours to charge) for it to recharge. Finally, after pressing the button again to start the party, Volta started to purr, but not in a cat-like way. Instead, the pink silicone beak began to jump wildly, just like my heart.
I heard the first fireworks, and the electrified atmosphere moved into my room. It didn't take much to wake up my little clit, and the peach started to cry, finally catching the feeling that, especially in December, was somewhat lacking. No lubricant was needed; what I had in my hands was enough. After a few seconds of use, I found myself wondering if Volta would be able to help me orgasm. I've had quite a few problems with vibrators for clitoral stimulation in the past, especially since I first tested air pulse technology.
Fortunately, and to my great satisfaction, the fourth vibration level has already calmed me down. I kept moving the beak closer and further away from my clitoris. When only the tips of the beak were touching it, I felt a slightly uncomfortable but stimulating tickling that could lead to orgasm, and when the toy sat with all its weight on the clit, I felt strong, bass vibrations that did not lose their power despite the pressure. Only the beak was widely opened.
After fifteen seconds, my brain was blown away by the sixth, most potent vibration level. At first, my arm felt heavier, but then it got lighter and lighter. Eventually, the unpleasant sensation caused by the two vibrating beak tips turned into tears that stayed with me until I came. I have never cried as much as I did, not even at breakups.
When I finished my post-orgasmic meditation, I again took Volta in my hands to reward myself before cooking dinner. It was New Year's Eve, after all. When I looked at it, I remembered Tiger in Bi Stronic vibrators. Unfortunately, as with those two, the silicone covering Volta had dust clinging to it. I sighed sadly and went into the bathroom. I returned with a clean vibrator and was relieved that I could continue.
With one orgasm already safely under the roof, I knew I had the opportunity to slowly test six patterns. I skipped the first five stages of monotonous vibrations and stopped at the sixth. I stayed there long enough to warm up my peach again, then hit the 'plus' button to reach the first pattern - slow waves. This was followed by three more patterns of faster and faster-waving patterns. It was like watching a calm sea turn into an uncontrollable storm monster. Only this time, the beast didn't cause damage but brought even more pleasure, in which I lost myself again. There were two more patterns - vibrating with cessation and gradually raising-power pattern.
When I used it for the third time that day, I noticed that Volta started to work with a third level of monotonous vibrations. If you want a lower intensity, you must move down by pressing the 'minus' button. Another feature that I also noticed in this test is that you cannot get from the patterns back to the monotonous vibrations by pressing the 'plus' button. If you only press this button, you will only move between the patterns. You can get back to monotonous vibrations by pressing the minus button, and even faster if you quickly press the red button to turn the Volta off and on again. When I had to move to the kitchen, I locked the vibrator holding the 'Fun' and 'minus' button together. This function is perfect if you are traveling with a vibrator. Press the 'Fun' and 'plus' buttons when safe in your hotel room.
In addition to stimulation of the clitoris, Volta can also be used for nipple stimulation, during oral stimulation of a penis, and to help reach an orgasm during sex. For the latter, the vibrator works well. You need to find a position where you can use it - unfortunately, it won't work in missionary, but maybe it will work in a standing position under the shower.
If you put Volta into the right socket, it will work wonders - the electricity will spread from your toes to the last hair on your head. It's suitable for those who like stronger vibrations, but I advise against it for those with a more sensitive clitoris, as you'll spend more time moving the vibrator away from that erogenous zone than teasing it. Nevertheless, since I have successfully survived my first date with it and enjoyed the continued companionship, Volta has become one of my favorite clitoral stimulators.
