Review: Dame Eva
Eva Longoria, Eve from the Bible, Eva Mendes? No, a completely different Eva, Dame Eva. It is almost as famous as the first three, except it doesn't appear on the TV screens or in books, but in bed, between the legs.
The green beetle fascinated me when I first saw the commercial a few years ago. However, only couples described it as a marvelous toy, so I refused to buy it, thinking there were other toys meant for solo play and therefore more suitable for me. Despite the persistent appearance of Dame products on Instagram and Facebook, I successfully avoided their products for three years. Still, in the end, I was overcome by curiosity and the possibility of buying Eva in a Slovenian erotic shop. I decided that this story would have a happy ending without a sexy lover.
Whenever I buy what I want and deduct quite a bit of money, I usually get what I want. Also this time, besides Eva, I got a charging base with a top, a charging cable, and instructions for use with a picture similar to the one in the middle of Playboy. However, as if the cover wasn't enough, they also included a storage bag and a sticker (I have no idea why mine ended up on the cap).
I slowly studied everything and stopped at the instructions. I was attracted to them because they were clearly written and equipped with illustrations. When I noticed only three drawn curves, it became clear that there would be no patterns. I also concluded that the vibrational strength is appropriately distributed in three stages - some for those with a more shy clitoris and others with a more resistant one. Eva also has a travel mode. Hold the button for ten seconds before throwing it into the suitcase. The vibrator will start flashing like crazy, and then it will turn off. Once you reach your destination, just place it in the base, and the travel mode will turn off (warning: be sure to put the base in the storage bag as well, if not, you will be left cold on the trip).
Eva is an unusual clitoral vibrator. It resembles a beetle in shape with two very long tentacles. It has an almost invisible but well-responsive button on its head to turn it on, off, put it in the travel mode, and switch between three different vibration powers. You can turn it however you want, upside down or with a head closer to your clitoris. Preparation will take some time anyway. The tentacles have their purpose - you need to tuck them under the labia majora or labia minora so that the body of the vibrator sits down on the clitoris. It took quite a bit of practice before I succeeded. It is also not best to bend the tentacles too much. You have to treat them gently as if they were real.
I tested it for the first time in a safe, missionary position. I found the button and pressed it. The first level is really gentle, and somewhere in my head, it dawned on me that the third level would not be enough for me either. So I suppressed the feeling and tried to enjoy the moment. When I managed to silence my head, my fingers started causing trouble trying to find a way to my clit. You know, just to check if everything is in its place.
When I and the toy introduced ourselves to each other, I shifted it into second gear. It was a little more potent but still gentle enough. However, the absolute rage of the storm in me was caused only by the third stage, which was light years away from the first and second vibration levels. It was intense and, as such perfect for me. Nevertheless, the fingers pressed the toy even closer to the clitoris. The feeling was better when the hands weren't involved, and the beetle could work on its own, but on the other hand, I knew that just moving the toy would take me to orgasm faster. Because I needed it as a desert needs water, I didn't move my hand away.
The next time I turned the toy upside down, but the vibration on the clitoris was not intense enough even in the third stage, so I turned it back up. I tucked the vibrating tentacles under my labia and decided to leave the missionary position. I sat with Eva, imitating movements during sex, lying on my stomach and on the side. The tentacles escaped the helpless labia at the body's slightest movement in each position. As the vibrations made the surroundings wetter and wetter, I had trouble tucking them back under the labia. Finally, I activated my loyal helpers, who kept Eva in place until my sweet end. I also tested it with a lubricant, but the freehand play had to be changed to a manual one. Same in the shower.
I like Eva's design. What's better than a toy that stimulates the labia with tentacle vibrations and a body that properly takes care of the clitoris? And all this without the help of hands. Well, probably a vibrator that is advertised as a toy for couples that could be used without involving your fingers. Although it has not fully fulfilled its task, I am not dissatisfied with Eva. On the contrary: ignoring the basic idea behind the toy, the package contains what it needs, the toy has good vibration strengths, and it is small, simple, and quiet. Only sometimes well-trained fingers have to offer it a hand.
