Review: Ovo S2 (Rose)
Bought, lost, and found. This would be the best description of the experience with the Ovo S2 clitoral stimulator. I bought it in the middle of the summer when I wanted to try out as many clitoral stimulators as possible. Unfortunately, the plan was ruined, and the vibrator landed in one of the boxes.
I tested it for the first time as soon as I got it. I know that the toy seemed average, nothing special, but I didn't remember anything more a few months later. After the project, I wanted to diversify my work from home with this clitoral stimulator. It should be in one of the four boxes and in one of the bags on which I never wrote down the name of the vibrator stored in it. I know older vibrators by shape while searching for new ones is like trying to find something blindfolded.
This time I first tackled the box with the vibrators I tested last. I found all those purchased together with Ovo vibrator, but the latter was not among them. I remembered cleaning them up in the summer and rearranging them in bags that I was chronically short of. I found all the old, already forgotten ones. Since my time for "selfness" was limited, I got fucking nervous, and I was willing to use the old ones, just to not waste any time.
I opened each bag separately but couldn't find it. I had been looking for it for so long that my time was running out. So a day later, I started again. And I saw it! Then, I just had to wait for the right moment to test the vibrator.
I got familiar with the brand name Ovo before. Somewhere in my memory, I had various good shapes of their vibrators, reminiscent of Lelo's toys, only their price is friendlier to the bank account. The company has its headquarters in Berlin, although its primary market is the USA. Nevertheless, toys are still made in Germany.
Besides the vibrator, the package also includes a USB charging cable, which is unfortunately not magnetic, and instructions for use. Apparently, the Ovo S2 is a vibrator that doesn't look like anything "that vibrates". Instead, its shape is more reminiscent of a shell from the coral reef. The white ABS plastic of the vibrator Ovo S2 is covered with pink or blue silicone. It has two well-responsive buttons. By pressing and holding the first one, you turn the toy on and off and switch to higher vibration levels, while with the second button, you return to the previously used pattern or vibration level. Although this information doesn't tell me anything because I don't observe them during masturbation, the light, depending on the level of vibration or the program selected, shines brighter, dimmer, or flashes to the rhythm of the pattern.
When I first tested it on my hand, I listed two different vibration strengths and at least eleven patterns. As I pressed the button and expected to get to the initial monotonous vibration, I couldn't get rid of the patterns. It took me a few minutes to realize that pressing this button would never get me to the first program. There are two ways to do it: a long press on the power button to turn off the toy and start at the beginning, or a second button to move backward. Since I was in a hurry "to the basement", I preferred to turn off the vibrator. I was totally wrong about their number in the case of patterns - there are only five of them.
I lowered the hand on my clitoris. I quickly found the right button and turned on the vibrator. The first vibration level was too weak for me, so I quickly moved on to the second and hoped there would be a real leap between them, as I knew that I was one push away from the patterns. And I experienced only a little leap, better than expected and worse than the one that would have brought me to orgasm right away. So I decided not to be adventurous and to just enjoy the most potent monotonous vibrations.
It took me quite some time to find the proper position of the toy. In the end, I just successfully anchored the tip of the vibrator against my clitoris and started moving it in all possible directions. Unfortunately, due to the ABS plastic, it slipped several times from its place. The orgasm came slowly, but it was guaranteed from the start.
I struggled a little with patterns. Although there are only five, I didn't even notice a difference between some of them. In addition to slower and faster pulsations and waves, some patterns join both in one. Too ambitiously, they tried to combine everything into these - pulse, waves, more potent, weaker vibrations, and escalation. It was too much for me, so I returned to the fast and strong pulsation that I liked the most.
I also tested the toy while showering. Although the sound of droplets hitting the ground muffled the sound of the vibrator, it is not the quietest, especially not at the strongest level of vibration. Still, I felt better than "on dry land".
Vibrator Ovo S2 is not the best among vibrators, but it is far from bad. The shape is better than the one of bullet finger vibrators. Although I spent quite some time, the toy finally hit the right point. I don't want to lose it again.
