Review: Romp by Womanizer Jazz
Romp Jazz came into my bedroom at the same time as Romp Wave. Since I already have a whole collection of rabbit vibrators, and I knew what to expect from them, I gave my peach a little break and focused on clitoral vibrators. But not for long. With its vibrant combination of pink and yellow color, Romp Jazz invited me to try it out.
Besides the vibrator, the package also includes a USB charger and stickers, which also came along with Romp's clitoral vibrator. Like his brother Wave, Jazz is also one of the low-cost vibrators. I expected a lot from both at first, but Wave lowered my expectations a bit. I was suspecting Jazz would have some flaws too.
The pink silicone that surrounds it is soft to the touch. The insertable part is curved for better G-spot stimulation and slightly thickened at the tip. This one is soft and pliable. The wrinkles on the inner side of the vibrator should provide additional stimulation. Attached to the insertable part is a clitoral stimulator that is very flexible, but at first glance, firm enough to stay in place during happy hours.
If the clitoral vibrator was easy to operate with just one button, Jazz has two - one to turn the toy on and off and the other to control vibrations. Both are harder than his little brother's controller, so you have to press it really hard to wake him up. When I first turned it on, I noticed the apparent difference between the volume of Jazz and Wave's sound. If Wave was as quiet as a mouse, Jazz is three times louder. I was also surprised that the vibrations of both parts, the insertable and the clitoral, can be managed with just one button. This means that they both vibrate at the same time with the same power or the same program.
Nevertheless, I gave it a chance. I've never had a rabbit vibrator that was so easy to operate. I always moved my fingers from one button to another to find a combination that would suit me. This time, those worries were unnecessary.
As I set the vibrator's tip on my clit and pressed the power button, I got shivers all over my body. My clit was already satisfied with the weakest vibration power. When my peach was more than ready, I turned off the vibrator, inserted it in, and turned Jazz back on. This is where the problems started. Contrary to some users' opinion on the Lovehoney website, I experienced a cold shower myself. I was disappointed by the clitoris stimulator.
It stayed in place as I had expected but far away from my sweet spot. As if it was too long. There was no way I could get it closer. If I moved the vibrator, it only got worse. I was slowly but surely drowning in frustration. It's different with the insertable part. Its shape achieved a feeling of fullness, and the softness of the tip prevented pain. The feeling inside was good, but I didn't feel any wrinkles from the inner side of the vibrator for extra stimulation.
I was also disappointed with the vibrations. Although it has, like Wave, six different vibration powers and only four programs, these are too weak. They can barely be felt inside, while I struggled for a long time with the clitoral stimulator 'finger', and then I was hindered by the vibrations' weakness. It was like watching a long movie with no real complication, just a straight line to the end. I'm not going to lie, the line just jumped towards the end, and I was able to experience an orgasm, but it came after half an hour of torturing the clit.
I thought the inability to manage each part separately would make it easier to use, and I was right. Easier, but the vibrations were monotonous, boring. I might not have complained so much if the clit part had a better connection with the sweet spot. Unfortunately, so many average features came together in one vibrator that ruined my alone time.
Jazz looks excellent and attractive to the eye, but its performance is more than disappointing. The shape of the insertable part is satisfactory, but the clitoral stimulator's form is just wrong. The vibrator is loud, but the vibrations are too weak. Judging by the opinions of other users, I conclude that it may not be so bad, but it did not suit me in any way. So this toy will be keeping company to Flamingo at the bottom of the closet.
